Traffic Hero Privacy Policy

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. At Traffic Hero, we have outlined our privacy policy so that we can inform you about how we handle your data.

By registering, and using our systems (Traffic Hero Web, Apps etc.), you consent to the handling of all information you provide to us. We will use your data for conducting theory and driving lessons, as well as subsequent documentation for completing the training, should this become necessary.

Under current law, we must be able to document completed driving lessons for up to 5 years, which is why we store your data for a maximum of 5 years. At the end of the 5 years, your data will automatically be anonymized or deleted from our systems in accordance with GDPR law.

The data we have on you is used solely for driving schools and driving technology to provide you with the statutory driving instruction.

The data we use includes:

  • Name, address, phone, email, ip addresses, timestamps
  • Pictures including profile pictures.
  • Billing information
  • Participation in teaching, assessment form, application form, lesson plan and course evidence.

We do not disclose your personal data without your permission. In the course of teaching, it is necessary that we pass on or disclose your personal information to others. We do not do this without your permission, either in accordance with the law or a declaration of consent.
Potential recipients of your personal data are:

  • The police and supervisors.
  • Any collaborating driving instructors.
  • Maneuvering lanes and vehicle engineering (duty, cf. Executive Order on Driving License).
  • For "special driving lessons", Citizen Service is presented and remains with Traffic Hero.
  • Elective enrollment of students to providers of external teachers in first aid.

We do not store your personal data any longer than we need to

Traffic Hero has an obligation to keep your lesson plan for 2 years for the sake of driving license notice.
The basis of the agreement for the ongoing teaching with us is stored for 5 years plus the current financial year, as it is considered accounting material in accordance with the Accounting Act.

Like any online service, Traffic Hero uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences and the pages of the site that visitors have accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize user experience by customizing our content based on visitors' browser type and / or other information.


Traffic Hero follows a standard procedure for using logging. Consumption patterns and which functions are used for the person with a timestamp are stored for the individual user for up to 1 year for troubleshooting in the system.
